I'm likely going to live to regret this, but I'm going to do it anyway.
I'm 29 years old, a full-time employee, and a failed graphic arts student in college whose been practicing anime and manga drawings since I first started taking art classes since middle school and all the way up through college and have seen absolutely no improvement in my art work since then. I've even tried various instruction booklets, studying anatomy, learning perspective, etc. Nothing has worked. Even criticisms and feedback from other artists haven't made any difference at all.
It's now reached a point where I'm starting to question whether I should just quit and give up due to my lack of progression and maturity as an artist.
I was working on a comic about a few months ago and completed about three pages but ended up stopping because it looked completely horrible. You can check it out below.
